Steinernema-System 5 mil. for an area of 40 sq/m
Steinernema-System provides biological protection against various pests. It is a unique nematode Steinernema feltiae parasitizing insects and their larvae, which finds the pest and parasitizes it. Also, this neamtod can help against thrips, mealybugs and other various insects.
How does it work?
Steinernema feltiae nematodes are actively and aggressively looking for victims such as thrips, whiteflies, and thrips
mosquito, various flies, moths or other insects
Nematodes actively search for victims and parasitize them through natural openings, once the nematode enters the insect
spreads Xenorhabdus bacteria that break down the prey into substances available to nematodes, thus creating a suitable environment for nematodes to continue multiplying. The victim is killed after 24-48 hours. New nematodes immediately look for another victim.
Nematodes quickly kill the pest population, are effective both on the leaves and in the soil, have no side negative effects on humans or beneficial insects, are safe for the environment and nature.
Nematodam needs a temperature of 15-30 degrees and moist soil for optimal performance.
Steinernema-System works best in a moist and warm environment (15 °C-20 °C). If the medium drops to 10 °C or rises to 30 °C, the nematodes will become inactive.
The spray pressure cannot exceed 20 bar
Norm
Both preventive control and control of existing pests are possible. Preventatively use 125,000 nematodes/m² weekly. For pest control use 250,000 nematodes/m² and repeat 2-3 times.
Nematodes are dissolved in 1000 liters of water/ha. It is important to cover the entire plant area if you want to treat the plants. Because nematodes enter the soil with water. Nematodes control all thrips stages except eggs. Nematodes are particularly effective against female thrips, which makes it very difficult for thrips to establish a population.
